Hi all!
Any fans of law and order svu? Are you going to watch the season opener tomorrow night?
I'm really curious to see how this season is going to be different from all the others since the guy that plays Stablelor isn't going to be on the show anymore. I'm honestly up in the air about the whole thing. On one hand they're introducing new characters and bringing old ones back..(Casey Novac is returning!) Yet Liv and El worked so closely over 12 years..I dunno how the show is going to be with out him. What are your thoughts? I'm def. going to watch!

Did anyone watch the season 13 opener of law and order SVU? What did you think?

Me, I'm curious about what actually happened to Stabler since I missed the last episode. Did he die or just quit the force?

I watched it. It actually made me sad that El is not there no more..seeing Liv cry was jus soo sad.. I didnt even know he was leaving the show.. I wished he comes back.. Its not the same without having Liv & El workin together. I guess i will continue to watch; ive always loved L&O: SVU...

So what happened. Did he die?

Hey Bryan..
El didn't die. In the last episode of season 12, he shot a teenage girl to stop her from killing anyone else. Fast-forward to season 13, and El's character has put in his resignation papers at the SVU squad. Hopefully, if the actor Chris Maloni comes back that'll leave room for a guest spot or something..
Bella, I know what you mean seeing Liv break down like that! I'm with you..I was really finding it strange to watch it with out El being there..it's def. something to get used to however I love SVU!
p.S. Bryan, if you have any questions feel free to pm or qn me! :) Same goes for you Bella..if anyone wants to talk SVU! :)

Guess that's just more reason for me to get serious about collecting the seasons on DVD. I have the first two and I want the rest of them.

Oh wow, I haven't even bought anything on dvd yet..lol the USA cable network shows svu episodes a lot so I just watch those.

True, but when you have them on DVD you don't have to worry about dumb commercials interrupting you. Plus if you're like me you get a kick out of watching the episodes in other languages whether you understand them or not.

Oh cool!! Now seeing them in other languages would be really interesting.

So far the most common supplemental languages I've seen for DD's are Spanish and French. It's pretty cool to hear the SVU opening narration in French LOL.

I bet!

The only thing I'm not entirely keen on as far as the SVU DVD set goes is that in some of them they use double sided disks. Too much potential to scratch one by accident.
